Michael Kim, Pharm.D., RPh.
Owner and President

Dr. Michael Kim is an entrepreneurial pharmacist and currently owns multiple pharmacies in the District of Columbia and Maryland.  Dr. Kim has been the recipient of several awards since graduation including the Bowl of Hygeia award, Distinguished Young Pharmacist award, Howard University College of Pharmacy Alumnus of the Year award, and the Washington DC Pharmacy Association Pharmacist of the Year.  He has been featured in multiple pharmacy publications and has been interviewed by many news media such as CNN, NBC, ABC and NPR.  Dr. Kim is the current Chairman of the Care Pharmacies Board of Directors, Vice President of NCPA and sits on many other Boards and committees.  He received his Pharm.D. from Howard University in 1998 and was part of the first ever entry-level Pharm.D. class to graduate from the College of Pharmacy.

DeLisa Winston, RPh.

Director of Quality Initiatives

DeLisa graduated from Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy in Brooklyn, N.Y.  Prior to coming to Grubb’s Pharmacy as a staff pharmacist in 2003, DeLisa worked at various retail pharmacies throughout the DC Metropolitan area.  

In her current role as Director of Quality Initiatives, DeLisa oversees the quality components for the pharmacy, serves as Security, Privacy and Compliance Officer for the pharmacy and is consistently striving for a more positive patient and health care provider experience with the pharmacy.  DeLisa is dedicated to customer satisfaction by ensuring exceptional quality of services.  Her philosophy emphasizes to “keep the patient first”.  She believes this is accomplished by providing and developing strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers and the community, being resourceful and exceeding expectations.  She also has strong passion for keeping pharmacy staff members updated on industry changes and providing them with education that will in turn provide a more positive experience for the patient.

DeLisa also serves on the P & T Committee for Community Hospices of DC, is an active member of the DC Pharmacy Association, and serves as preceptor for pharmacy students, interns and technicians.

Morkina Broadie

DME and Front Store Manager

Morkina joined Grubb's in May 2000 as a pharmacy technician and cashier.  She was then promoted to front store manager after her first year with Grubb's and also began training in the DME department.  In 2006, Morkina was again promoted and given the additional role of DME manager.  She went on to get certifications in orthopedic shoe fittings and mastectomy/bra fittings.  She also completed medical coding and billing courses at Prince George's Community College.  She is responsible for managing the entire DME department and is also responsible for complying with our accreditation requirements to maintain our national accreditation for the DME department.    

India Mack, CPhT

Head Pharmacy Technician

India Mack, CPhT is the lead pharmacy technician, trainer, and supervisor at Grubb's Pharmacy.

For the past 17 years, she has been serving the Capitol Hill community and is dedicated to lending her experience and expertise to providing the fast, friendly and quality service that you have come to expect from Grubb's Pharmacy.

She began her career in pharmacy by participating in a pharmacy technician apprenticeship program. India was selected among the top ten people of 100 applicants for the program.

She has been nationally certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board since 2002. India is the recipient of the 2015 WDCPhA Pharmacy Technician of the Year award.

India has a broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical arena and is truly committed to the profession of pharmacy. Her commitment reaches far and beyond the relationship of pharmacy technician to patient. With India, you are like family!


Dana Wiggins

Executive Assistant and HR Manager

“People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” – Maya Angelou. I live by this quote, as I seek to leave a positive lasting impression on everyone that I come in contact with.

I am fortunate to work alongside some very devoted colleagues at Grubb’s Pharmacy as the Human Resources Manager and Executive Assistant to the Owner, Dr. Michael Kim. I have worked in customer service for 13 years; the last five years as part of the Grubb's family. My goal everyday is to be a steward to our patients and employees, as both relationships impact the overall health of the business.

Starting fall 2016, I will be returning to school part-time to obtain a certificate as a Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence. This training will allow me to further hone my skill set with a focus on quality assurance.

Tom Brew

Program and IT Manager

Tom joined the Grubb's Pharmacy Team August of 2009, his duties include management and oversight of the day-to-day facility functions including IT, Communications, and Security operations of the four independent and growing pharmacy locations.  Serving as the Program Manager, Tom manages all large renovations of the existing facilities and other locations.  While working on-site and remotely, he manages six separate LAN networks and 4 MPLS Fiber networks, including, switches, routers, servers, workstations, video surveillance, and all linking VPN’s or cross connections.  Tom enjoys training staff in many phases of the build-outs and technology ensuring fast error recoveries and redundancy in technical help desk support.

Tom's strengths: LEAN/Sigma manufacturing-trained, experienced, and highly diversified Manager and System Engineer with over 20 years’ experience in DOD and commercial manufacturing. Hands on experience in Electromechanical, Fiber Optic, Surface Mount, Through-hole, TEMPEST electronics manufacturing, facility, marketing, quoting, operations, and program management.  Previously held secret security clearance with COMSEC briefing.  Self-sufficient, computer, Internet, database, and MRP accomplished. 

Mark Pesi, CPhT
Floor manager and Pharmacy Technician

Mark joined the team in 2016.  After spending 15 years as the customer service manager for a defense industry contractor and 8 years supporting one of world's first electronic health records with GE Healthcare, he oversees the day-to-day customer service functions of Grubb's Pharmacy.  He is also an electrical engineer, so his expertise is crucial to keeping the IT infrastructure, robotics, and other electronics at Grubb's working as efficiently as possible.
