Individuals 5 years of age and older regardless of previous vaccination are eligible to receive a single dose of an updated mRNA COVID-19 vaccine at least 2 months since the last dose of any COVID-19 vaccine.

Individuals 6 months through 4 years of age who have previously been vaccinated against COVID-19 are eligible to receive one or two doses of an updated mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (timing and number of doses to administer depends on the previous COVID-19 vaccine received).

Unvaccinated individuals 6 months through 4 years of age are eligible to receive three doses of the updated authorized Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine or two doses of the updated authorized Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine.

FDA granted approval today (9/11/23) of the updated monovalent (Omicron variant XBB.1.5) Covid-19 vaccines. Both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines were approved. These vaccines should be available in the coming weeks following ACIP and CDC recommendations. Please check back frequently. Also Per FDA: As part of today’s actions, the bivalent Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines are no longer authorized for use in the United States.

RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) Vaccine is now available. There are two vaccines available: Arexvy and Abrysvo are both approved for use in adults over the age of 60 to reduce their risk of developing lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD). Abrysvo is also approved for use in pregnant women between 32 through 36 weeks gestation, to protect infants against LRTD from the moment they are born until they are 6 months of age, making it the first RSV vaccine to be FDA-approved for this purpose.

Children 3 years and older can still receive the COVID-19 vaccine or Flu shot without a prescription, at least until December 2024. Children under the age of 3 years still requires a prescription. All other vaccines can be administered to children 12 years and older with parental consent. Under 12 years old requires a prescription for any vaccine other than COVID-19 and Flu.

PAXLOVID for the treatment of mild-moderate COVID-19 disease now available at Grubb's Pharmacy. A prescription from a medical provider licensed to prescribe drugs in the District of Columbia is required. Click here for the Paxlovid Patient Fact Sheet.

*Official test result document for COVID Tests available same day after 6:00pm. Please request early access only if absolutely necessary.
Appointments are required. Walkups are currently accepted but registration and payment through your mobile device is required before getting tested.
