Frequently Asked Questions
How will I know when my prescription is ready?
We offer text and email notifications when your prescription is ready. Just let us know that you want the notification.
Can I prepay my prescription online?
We currently only accept payment at the pharmacy or by phone if paying by credit card.
How can I transfer prescriptions from another pharmacy?
Either stop by our location, text us, or use the contact page under the Locations tab to request the transfer of your prescriptions.
What if I forgot to pick up my prescription at the indicated time?
We will hold your prescription for at least 7 to 14 days. Contact us to see if your prescription is still ready for pick-up or if it needs to be refilled again.
Can I pick up a prescription for someone else? What information do I need?
You must show the proper identification and you must be an authorized caregiver for the patient whose prescription you are picking up. We require proper ID for the patient and the person picking up for all controlled substances.
Can I use my prescription card at your pharmacy?
Yes, we accept most major insurance plans including DC Medicaid, Amerigroup, and MedStar Family Choice.
Can you help me with Medicare Part D questions?
Yes, we have trained Medicare Part D professionals on staff to help you choose the right plan for your prescription needs and answer questions.
If I have no refills remaining, can I still request a refill online?
Yes, you can request the refill but we will have to contact your physician for authorization and will only be able to fill your prescription after your physician authorizes the refill request. We may experience delays in filling your prescription until we hear back from the prescriber.
If I order my prescription now, when will it be ready for pickup?
We try to fill every prescription as quickly as possible, but we do run into delays that are out of our control. Depending on the situation, your prescription may be ready in 15 minutes or it could take several days. Please know that we do everything possible to fill your prescription as quickly as we can. You can also request a text or email notification when your prescription is ready.
What is the best way to contact the pharmacy?
The best way to contact us is by email or text. We receive more than 1000 calls per day so the phone is not the best way to contact us.
